Cavalry For Christ (C4C) is a 501(c)(3) faith-based non-profit. We are a first-response disaster relief organization, staffed by full-time volunteers. We are overseen by a board of directors, with a wide range of professional and social backgrounds.
In disaster situations, we are prepared to provide first-response relief with humanitarian aid. We serve as a coordinating agency to collaborate resources and services. Our services include preparing and serving hot meals, coordinating and distributing supplies and resources, housing and feeding volunteer teams, and coordinating local needs and relief efforts.

Hurricane Ike: Operations at Church of the Living God, Galveston
We have set up operations at Church Of The Living God, 3315 7 Mile Road, Galveston, TX. We served meals to the general public from Oct. 1st till January 31st, and continue to house and feed volunteer groups. We accept and process work request assistance forms from survivors needing assistance, and provide case management.
There is great need and much severe destruction in Galviston, with most residences and residents of this city of nearly 65,000 affected. Other News:
September 18, 2008: C4C arrived in TX and began assessing the damages of Ike, and mobilized their efforts.
October 1, 2008: C4C began serving hot meals at Church of the Living God on 7 Mile Rd, Galveston. Nearly 30,000 meals were served to the community by January 31st.
February 1, 2009: C4C transitioned their efforts in Galveston to Phase 2, and we continue to rebuild homes as we restore lives in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.
